Now comes our Fall 2011 issue, bring­ing togeth­er pieces of var­i­ous sizes and shapes, each of which, in its own way, turns out threat­en­ing and intrigu­ing, the last being among the great plea­sures of read­ing, that sto­ry or poem that just goes its own way, always end­ing up where you did­n’t quite expect it to. Here you will find con­ven­tions thwart­ed, and con­ven­tions miss­ing in action, and con­ven­tions ful­filled exact­ly as you anticipated–almost. Or maybe not, on sec­ond thought. We loved these pieces one and all and hope you do, too.
